Who we are:

MindWise is a leading membership based mental health charity in Northern Ireland, with the legal status of a Charity and a company limited by guarantee. We have been working with and for people directly affected by mental health issues, their families, carers for over 50 years and we’re very proud of the achievements we have made Together.

What we do:

We support over 12,000 people each year with lived experience of mental ill health, their families and carers each year in NI alone, providing them with talking therapies, wellness services, criminal justice and adult mental health services, programmes for schools and for employers.  We also have an important lobbying and advocacy role.

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for some-one as passionate about mental health care as we are.  We’re particularly keen to bolster our Board’s collective skill set with people who have a background in one of the following:

• psychiatry
• psychology
• legal
• public affairs
• business
