Lighthouse is an organisation committed to the prevention of suicide and self-harm; the promotion of positive mental health and the provision of support services to families who have been bereaved due to suicide.

We work to remove the stigma associated with suicide and mental health issues through education and awareness activities which promote ‘positive mental health’. In addition, we’ve been instrumental in highlighting the need to address the problems of suicide and self-harm in a more strategic way and been a key contributor to the development of ‘Protect Life – the Northern Ireland Suicide Prevention Strategy’.

In planning to deliver our services in that context, we are conscious of the need to build sustainability while maintaining our reputation as a centre of excellence in suicide prevention.

We are looking to enhance our board with strategic thinkers who have either clinical or legal expertise.  They can expect to play a very fulfilling board level role in helping guide the delivery of meaningful social impact to the benefit of Lighthouse’s service users.

To register your interest, you need only submit your CV.

For a confidential discussion about the roles, contact Patrick Minne on 07792 509003 or at patrick@co3.bz.
